Terms of use
1. The service
Citano is an online booking tool for beauty and wellness professionals. Owner: [name or company name], NIF [NIF], address [address], email [contact email].
Citano does not provide beauty or wellness services: the service is provided by the professional, who alone is responsible for its quality, price, timing and premises.
Part A. For clients who book
- Booking through Citano is free for clients. The price of the service is paid directly to the professional unless the professional states otherwise.
- When booking, give your real name, phone and email: the professional uses them to contact you, and your confirmation and the link to manage the booking are sent to your email.
- You can reschedule or cancel through that link until the deadline set by the professional; after that, contact the professional.
- The professional may reschedule or cancel the booking; you will receive an email if they do.
- A client may hold a limited number of future bookings with one professional at a time. To prevent abuse, the number of booking attempts is limited.
- Do not use the service for fake bookings or to harass the professional; the professional can block online booking for a client.
Part B. For professionals
Account
- You sign in with a Google account. The professional is responsible for their profile data, services and prices, and for keeping the account secure.
- Citano is a service for professionals (businesses or self-employed), not for consumers.
Subscription and payment
- The first month is free and needs no card. After that the subscription costs €10/month, VAT included, paid in advance by card through Stripe.
- If you subscribe before the trial month ends, the remaining days are kept: the first charge happens on the day the trial ends.
- You can cancel at any time on the subscription page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and the current month is not refunded.
- If a charge fails, online booking keeps working for 7 days while Stripe retries the charge. If it is not paid within 7 days, online booking closes until payment. The account, bookings and data are kept.
- We may change the price with at least [30 days’] notice by email; the change applies from the next period.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Citano for unlawful purposes, to send unsolicited advertising, or to process client data in breach of the GDPR.
- We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, with prior notice except in serious cases.
Availability and liability
- We work to keep the service available, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or failures of third parties (Google, Stripe, email).
- Google Calendar sync depends on Google; Citano is the main source of booking data.
- To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid by the professional in the last 12 months. [Review.]
Closing the account
- You can close your account by writing to us. Before deletion we will provide your data on request. [Timing and format to be confirmed.]
Part C. Data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR)
For client data, the professional is the controller and Citano is the processor. By accepting these terms, the professional and Citano agree:
- Subject: Citano processes client data (name, phone, email, language, bookings, notes) only to run the booking service and on the professional’s instructions, given through their use of the service.
- Confidentiality: everyone with access to the data is bound by confidentiality.
- Security: Citano applies appropriate technical and organisational measures (encrypted connection and Google permissions, restricted access, backups).
- Sub-processors: the professional authorises the providers listed in the privacy policy. We will give notice of changes so the professional can object.
- Client rights: Citano helps the professional respond to access, erasure and other requests.
- Breaches: Citano notifies the professional without undue delay and, where possible, within [48 hours].
- End: when the account is closed, Citano deletes or returns client data unless the law requires keeping it.
- Audit: Citano provides the information needed to demonstrate compliance.
2. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. [Jurisdiction: to be confirmed.] The Russian and English texts are translations; in case of doubt the Spanish version prevails.
